SPA POLICIES & PROCEDURES

At Maya Medi-Spa, we pride ourselves on offering the best care for our clients. Please make yourself aware of our company policies and procedures described below. Our policies have been designed to ensure you have a truly enjoyable visit with us.

SCHEDULING

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to help you schedule your next appointment. We recommend that you schedule your next service prior to leaving Maya Medi-Spa. To hold a reservation, we require a valid credit card number and expiration date at the time of scheduling.

Payment Information

Payments by cash, personal check, Maya Medi-Spa Gift Card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted. All prices are subject to change without notice.

PRICES & GRATUITY

Maya Medi-Spa & Salon reserve the right to modify, discontinue or raise prices on any products or services without prior notification.  Gratuity is not included in pricing, but is always appreciated on salon and non-medical spa services. It is common practice to tip 15% – 20% of the original service price. Please feel free to extend a gratuity as a result of your spa experience. Gratuities are accepted in the form of cash or credit card.

SPA ATTIRE

Maya Medi-Spa & Salon will provide you with a robe and sandals for your comfort. A secured changing area is available for your personal belongings. Maya Medi-Spa & Salon are not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.

SPA ENVIRONMENT

At Maya Medi-Spa & Salon, we strive to provide you with the most relaxing and soothing spa experience from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Please refrain from using your cell phone in the spa. Your cooperation in providing a quiet environment is greatly appreciated.

Special Needs

Your comfort and well-being are very important to us. Prior to receiving your service, please inform us of any special needs or medical conditions including pregnancy, hypertension, injuries, allergies, disabilities or illnesses. Talking with your technician will help customize your service to ensure your maximum enjoyment and benefit.

Punctuality

We respectfully request that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. When booking services at Maya Medi-Spa, your appointment is scheduled with a therapist or technician, whose time is allocated exclusively for your scheduled treatment. If you are late for a scheduled appointment, our company policy offers you two options:

  • You may opt to shorten your treatment
  • You may prefer to reschedule your appointment at a more convenient time, however, a cancellation charge will be incurred.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that occasionally you may have to cancel an appointment with us. However, we do ask that you give us fair warning. You will receive a text message 2 days prior to confirm your appointment. As a courtesy to our clients and staff, it is company policy for all clients to give a 24 hour notice of cancellation. Failure to do so will result in a $50 cancellation fee.

Refunds

If for any reason you are not satisfied with any retail purchases made at Maya Medi-Spa, we will be glad to offer you a store credit which can be used for future retail purchases.  All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt and are only valid within 14 days of purchase.   There are no cash refunds. Damaged, used, discontinued, or partial kit items may not be returned.

EXCHANGES

When you purchase a course of treatments, you will receive a discounted price. Because of this discounted price, the payment is to be made at the beginning of your course. Unfortunately, these courses are not refundable.

Privacy Policy

Maya Medi-Spa respects your privacy and is committed to protecting and securely managing all of the personal information that you choose to share with us. During your online visit or when scheduling an appointment, you may be required to share personally identifiable information, such as your first and last name, physical address, telephone number or e-mail address. Maya Medi-Spa collects this information in order to facilitate the delivery of services and/or the completion of an order. Maya Medi-Spa will not sell, share, or rent your personally identifiable information to third parties in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

GIFT CARD POLICY

Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise or services at Maya Medi-Spa & Salon.  Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.  Maya Medi-Spa & Salon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards or for any unauthorized gift card use. 

Children

We are unable to provide services to guests accompanied by children.  Children are permitted by special appointment only.  For the safety of your child/children and the comfort and consideration of other guests, this policy is strictly enforced. 

Consideration for Clients Who Are Minors

We give special consideration to clients who are under the age of 18. Clients between 15 and 18 years old must present written permission from their parents or guardian prior to their first spa service. Clients under 15 years old must have a parent or guardian present at all times.
